“Shalom laYehudim, Shalom laBnai Noach, Shalom laGoyim” It is the evening of the 4th day, khes beAdar Alef, Parashas Taytsaveh, tav-shin-ayin-vav, the evening of the 3rd, Tuesday, 16 February 2016, webcasting from the land that turns reality upside down, or is it inside out?

The power of Jewishness, the power of all the ideas connected to the religion of the Jewish people, never ceases to amaze in its magnitude.

Out of the Torah miSinai came not only the Jewish people with the most extraordinary lifespan in the history of peoples, still going strong after almost 4,000 years — in which Jews were surely murdered in every year, sometimes in massive numbers. From Judaism also came today’s billion-plus Christians with their amazingly productive 2,000 years of history — whose religion claims to be the real Jewish religion.

1,570,000,000,000 (1.57 billion) Muslims whose religion is nothing but the theft of Jewishness. The power of the Jewish idea ignited the greatest war in history in which in 60 million people died in an effort to rub it out.

The power of Jewishness produced the utopian, messianic perversion of Judaism that is Marxism that took the lives in Russia, China, Cambodia, Ethiopia and elsewhere of more than 100 million others. The Bible is a text that created civilization itself and its accomplishments, but also its opposite: wars and episodes of destruction beyond compare.

The Jews and all they represent have a power to move history unlike any other set of ideas and stories. Consider the pseudo-world government of the United Nations Organization that spends a third of its time just on the Jews in their tiny homeland that they brought back to life. Jewishness has the power the bend the minds of billions of people on this planet.

Consider the focus of my book: the invention of a fairy tale, a lie of history most of the world now believes in. They now believe there was throughout history an indigenous Balestinian nation minding its own business who, after World War II had its entire country stolen by the Jews.

Communism was also a perversion and sometimes even plagiarizing of Jewishness. There are ideas and expressions in Marx’s 1848 Communist Manifesto that are obvious reworkings of Biblical images, and in its base Marxism has a lunatic hatred of Jews as the great villains manipulating international capitalism in order to monopolize all wealth and impoverish all of mankind.

Nazism too, National Socialism, was a perverted inversion of the notion of the Chosen People, chosen to represent the existence of the Creator of All Life, into a pseudo-scientific myth of Aryans as the Master Race. Hitler saw the Jews as Public Enemy No. 1, and in his last will and testament said either Germany wins by destroying all the Jews or the Jews will destroy all Germans.

Then there is Islam, the most blatant, obvious rip-off of Judaism imaginable. The core of the Koran is the Torah re-worked. Islam refers to Ibrahim binding his son Ismail; now from where did they get that idea?

As another enormous episode in history like Communism and Nazism, Islam hates the Jews too and has the power to engulf billions of people in its perverse construction of reality.

Take, for example, the great success of Islam in masking its Nazi-like, Communism-like aspiration to overrun the whole world by pointing the finger of guilt and accusation at the Jews. The PLO Covenant accuses Zionism of being another tentacle of Western imperialism, the latest colony after centuries of Western empires overrunning Third World peoples. This is how Jimmy Carter refers to the gated communities built within sight of Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa after the war in 1967. These bedroom suburbs he calls “colonies,” as if the Jews living in them were luxuriating on their rubber plantations and being carried around in sedan chairs on the shoulders of native porters, sipping their mint juleps or something.

Anti-Jew hatred is so immense — the flip side of the power to create that is Judaism — it throws sand in the eyes of the world when accusing Israel of imperialism and racist oppression of non-Jews that serves as a smoke-screen to cover up the truth that it is Islam that is the last, great, imperialist ideology bent on overrunning the whole world. What is the Muslim war against Israel if not an empire’s inability to let a tiny people live free of their tyranny?

As I make the case in my book, in the 1950s and 60s, the Arab-Israeli Conflict was about the denial by the Arabs of the right of Jews to live free in their own self-governing state, in their own ancient religious homeland.

But then came that earthquake in time in June 1967 when the Jews, after more than 2,000 years of exile from their homeland, returned to rule in Judea, Jerusalem and Hevron, site of the Cave of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs. This produced the civilizational equivalent of a nervous breakdown that led to the invention of the Balestinians whose narrative stood history on its head; or maybe turned history inside out. Since then, the narrative has become just the opposite: it is the empire of the Jews that will not permit the Ancient Palestinians to have their own state in “their” ancient homeland. Today Israel is guilty of what the Arabs were guilty of before the Six-Day War.

Which brings me to the news today that two days ago, in Newsweek online – it is only online these days — they ran an op-ed by Arab MK Hanin Zoabi in which she said what I pointed out last week. In her universe, the Jews have no right to defend themselves. Last Thursday I said the following: “The Arabs fight dirty but of course don’t see things this way.

That was in the heart of Arafat’s speech to the UN in 1974. In his ethical universe: “a terrorist is one with an evil cause. He is not defined by his methods but his cause”, so that: “Everything Israel does, including defend itself, is terrorism, because its cause, Jewish freedom, is evil, versus the Arabs who can do anything they want because their cause is just.”

That was me last week and here is Hanin Zoabi two days ago, she who sailed with the antisemites on the Mavi Marmara in 2010 and also praised the kidnappers of the three boys in 2014. Here she is saying that “Israel sees its violence toward Balestinian Arabs as self-defense but as an occupying power, it is not entitled to self-defense.”

Yes. That is how barbarians like her experience what goes on here. The Arabs can do whatever they want to Jews because the Jews stole Balestine from them, and the Jews have no right even to defend themselves from the Balestinians whose violence against them is legitimate in international law, she said, because it is legal to resist an imperialist, colonial power.

This is the ethical ‘weltanschauung’, the German word for world-view of the Arabs, of these Muslims. The Jews have no case. They are plain and simple thieves of Arab Muslim land. They were criminals in 1948, again in 1967 and remain criminals by fighting to hold onto what they stole. They had no right to steal Balestine and have no right to defend keeping it.

As we heard from that other Arab MK Ghattas last time, he who (with Zoabi) visited the parents of those ten Jew-killers, ‘who did nothing illegal’, he said. They were not criminals but freedom fighters.

In her op-ed, Zoabi also continued with the latest Arab fantasy that Israel is killing Balestinians at random in extra-judicial executions. “The occupier does not have the right to self-defense. Those killed by Israelis are as much victims as the innocent Israelis they killed.” (Interesting Freudian slip here on her part, by admitting the Israelis were innocent.)

This is why I despair of ‘peace in our time’, to quote Neville Chamberlain, of peace between us and these Arabs, these Muslims. One of the more infuriating aspects of the Oslo peace delusion for yours truly was the unbearable ignorance of Arabs and Islam, of the history of these peoples, that was inadvertently on display in the minds of Rabin, Peres, Beilin and the rest. These Arabs cannot live in peace with one and another. Look at Syria, Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Egypt, but with us Jews, said the peace delusionists, they were ready for a mutually respectful compromise.

There is an abyss separating Jewish civilization and Arab culture, Arab barbarism, and that is on display in news stories like this one. This miserable inability on her part of empathizing with Jews as fellow human beings with rights equal to those of Arabs who have 21 officially Arab states and the Muslims who have 56 officially Muslim states. To resist the Jews’ desire for their own tiny state is ‘okay’ because Israel is a criminal, imperialist, racist, colonial enterprise – according to Zoabi.

Observe the shocking inability of Arabs to respect the right of the Jewish people to independence, their emotional stinginess that basically dehumanizes Jews who they believe do not have the right to fight back when attacked by those trying to murder them.

Now I wish to point to the odd similarity, the inability to see Jews as fully human and like other humans shared by the civilized, namely, the otherwise pro-Israel Westerners like the French or Irish-American UN Ambassadress Samantha Power. In both cases, among the barbarians and the civilized, there is a quotient, albeit vastly different in magnitude, of unreality and the dehumanizing of Jews.

In this, Samantha Power is a distant spiritual cousin of Hanin Zoabi. With barbarians like Hanin Zoabi, the mirror image of us is blatant, versus the much less glaring position of the French and Samantha Power who – out of one side of their mouths – can express sympathy for the Jews who have rights like others, but on the other side of their mouths make demands of Jews that are simply inhuman. In this, they too are incapable of fully identifying with us and seeing themselves in our shoes.

Consider the French whose ambassador here today presented our Foreign Ministry with France’s plan for an international peace conference for this summer in which many countries and organizations will be present, all of whom — except Israel — will be against Israel holding onto the high ground it took in self-defense and still needs for its survival.

The French expect Israel to attend such a kangaroo court, at the end of which Conference Israel will agree to the Two-State Solution and – if it does not – no matter. The Conference will recognize the independent state of Balestine State Solution and judge Israel to be the recalcitrant criminal for not retreating from the “Occupied Balestinian Territories” in order to allow it to be born. It is simply inhuman to make this demand of Israel. Do the French really think Israel will agree to such a farce of a peace conference?

Then there is Samantha Power currently in the country here who said last night in a speech that the UN is biased against Israel. She said the UN does not treat Israel as other countries are treated.

But then she too repeated the position of the numerous U.S. governments that the Two-State Solution is the solution they want, which means – one doubts she is even aware of this – the turning of a half-million Jews into homeless refugees in their own tiny country. It means returning the high ground Israel needs to survive back to the aggressors. The logistics of such a Two-State Solution are never raised by supporters like her.

It is truly a fantasy whose very physics are not of this world. It envisions Israel relinquishing control of the air space over Judea and Samaria in addition to the land below; of relinquishing control of the electro-magnetic air space over it too and the water sources beneath it.

The fantasy of moving a half-million Jews from their homes into refugee camps is also a fantasy that has no room for the cost of such an operation and who will pay for it. The Two-State Solution is simply not of this world and no Israeli government is going to agree to it.

Then on top of all this pressure from the French and from Power, there is the PA’s fantasy foreign minister of a state that does not exist, Riyad Malki, who said yesterday that the PA will never sit face-to-face in negotiations with Israel again, as Israel answers the French with their Conference plan that only in face-to-face negotiations will Israel meet the Balestinians.

I also found it fascinating that Malki said that the latest surge in homicidal violence has its roots in “humiliation and desperation after decades of occupation.” That’s interesting, because there is a verse in the Koran calling for the “oppression and humiliation of Jews,” and that is the way things were for over a thousand years until upended by the Zionist rebellion.

In effect, he was accusing Jews of Islam’s crimes against them. It is a question I have no answer for: How long will this period in history last, when the fantasy of a Palestinian people with national rights to what the League of Nations recognized as the Jewish people’s historic homeland dominated the minds of the world community?

As world history gave us antisemitic Communism, antisemitic National Socialism and antisemitic Islam, so it has implanted in history another set of delusional ideas call Palestinian Nationalism that is also rooted in hatred of the Jews no less than these earlier ideologies. The myth is most obviously the product of barbaric minds but also notice how it has infected the far more civilized West in people such as Samantha Power and every other Westerner who thinks the Two-State Solution is the way to go, when that is nothing but Oslo warmed over.

Oslo was the onset of a journey toward a state of Balestine in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, that of course blew up in our faces; literally blew up in our faces.

Well, the Two-State Solution is nothing but an unreal, inhuman, impossible repetition of that fantasy that fits the definition of madness according to Einstein. “Keep doing the same thing and getting the same results”, while hoping that the current repetition will produce a different result.

Israel must gird its loins, resist the latest madness – this Palestinian Nationalism business — and eventually, G-d willing, Israel will shatter the antisemitic idol of “Balestinians” as victims of the Jews.

Well, this is going to be an abbreviated webcast because there is a “sheva brachos” I must attend this evening. For those who don’t know what that is: it’s a gathering of people with a little schnapps and refreshments to recite seven blessings and celebrate a couple on the verge of their nuptials. That is what “sheva brachos”, in the Yiddish pronunciation, means: “seven blessings,” for health, wealth, happiness and etc.

So I am going to take this opportunity to post an 8-minute-plus Karduner piece I almost never play because of its length. Verses from Psalm 42 whose melody was sung by Breslever Hasidim praying these words in the forests of Uman in central Ukraine. Karduner, as I am sure many of you know, is Baal-teshuva Breslever Hassid.

Enjoy, and Leila tov miEretz Yisrael.

“Phantom Nation: Inventing the ‘Palestinians’ as the Obstacle to Peace”available at Amazon.com on Kindle or 3 Volume Paperback. Check out the reviews on Amazon.com Book Description: Publication Date: January 4, 2014

If you are a supporter of Israel, “Phantom Nation” is a must-read book. If you support the putatively Paleolithic “Palestinians,” you had better read this book. Sha’i ben-Tekoa skewers the myth of a “Palestinian” nation with rights to land the League of Nations specifically recognized as Jewish. The author, hired for a research project by the Office of Israel’s Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir discovered the first mention ever in a United Nations resolution of “Palestinians” in the year 1970, three years after Israel conquered Judea and Samaria,a.k.a. the “West Bank.” The author also shows how this very no-name of a name, “West Bank,” had to be invented for hills the Arabs never had a name for. Hence, the sterile, topographical description lacking all historical associations, which exposes the fraud that is the “Palestinian” counter-claim to land the League said was Jewish. Before 1959, when Gamal Nasser of Egypt conjured up the idea of a phantom “Palestinian” nation, the record of Holy Land history is perfectly empty of any mention of them. After Ben-Tekoa’s government assignment ended, he went in search of the full story surrounding the birth of this allegedly archaic community, and the story he tells covers the entire sweep of Zionist and Israeli history, its wars and waves of Arab and Muslim massacres (terrorism) and the birth of this notional nation a Biblical generation of forty years after the League of Nations’ decision. He likens the rise of “Palestinian Nationalism” to Holocaust Denial as a twin perversion of history; as our generation’s successor ideology to medieval Christianity and Nazism as forms of homicidal anti-Semitism. It is our time’s way of justifying the mass murder of Jews. “Phantom Nation” is also a crackling, riveting, great read.

Review From Outpost, April, 2015, by Ruth King, Board of Directors, AFSI: Americans for a Safe Israel “…When Shai Ben-Tekoa was doing research for the Office of Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir on the United Nations bias against Israel, he discovered that in the period of The League of Nations (1919-1945) and in United Nations Resolutions from 1945 until 1969 there was not a single reference to the Arabs as “the people of Palestine.” That term had its debut in Resolution 2535 in 1969. One year later, UN Resolution 2628 referenced the Arabs as “the Palestinian people” inventing a national identity which everyone has been parroting ever since. These facts inspired ben-Tekoa to write his meticulously researched and detailed three-volume work Phantom Nation: Inventing the “Palestinians” as the Obstacle to Peace. These volumes are packed with more information that any single book on the history of Israel. Ben-Tekoa chronicles it all–from the early pre-state Zionists, to the rebirth of the Jewish state, through the endless wars & terrorism, to the present Holocaust denial & international anti-Semitism.
Furthermore, Ben Tekoa understands the role that the Koran and Islam have played in the Muslim/Arab war against Israel. Israel stands in the way of Muslim dreams of a Caliphate with Sharia law throughout the Middle East. In this respect he goes beyond some of the best books on the conflict, including the late Irish politician Conor Cruise O’Brien’s The Siege and Samuel Katz’s Battleground. The blood curdling anti-Jewish fulminations of Iran are a call for a final jihad against Israel. Bat Ye’or in her many books & articles detailed the Islamic origins of anti-Israel hatred as did the late Saul Friedman in his splendid Land of Dust.

I highly recommend Ben Tekoa’s work. Phantom Nation belongs in homes, libraries, and should be studied by all Israel support organizations. From Ruth King
